Hello, I'm Lorita and I'm the founder and designer of Shop Ting and Things.

It has always been my dream to have my own line of products that I can share with like-minded people. But that dream never came to fruition after starting a corporate job immediately upon graduating. This little dream of mine starts to seem out of reach. Things changed once my son was born, I started creating and designing for all his milestones, birthdays, outfits and Halloween costumes. I feel a strong need to keep my creativity going since juggling between a corporate job and mom life can be repetitive and lacklustre at times. My small shop keeps me motivated and creative. It feels great to be passionate about something. So you'll see that everything in my shop is designed and created by me with love.

Why the name?
The shop is a derivative of my blog that I started in 2007 with the name, Every Little Thing. I wanted to have a creative outlet for me to express myself and have a forum to share my creativity and stories. The word, “Ting” means pretty and is my Chinese name. When you combine Every Little Thing with Ting, we have Ting and Things. That's why you'll also see a lot of my designs are heavily influenced by my Asian heritage. I hope my products bring joy and add a bit more fun to your everyday like they do for me.
